Shop with Blessed Performance for the Banks Power Monster Ram Intake with Billet Heater & Intake Plate for your 2007.5 to 2012 Dodge 6.7L Cummins diesel. This intake is designed using the latest in CFD (computational fluid dynamics) as well as being tested on the dyno, a flow bench, on the road. Featuring cast aluminum construction, this intake is a direct-fit replacement that delivers immediate power and better acceleration.
The addition of the High-Flow Heater and Billet Intake Plate to the Monster-Ram intake makes this set up perfect intake system. The restrictive stock heater grid plate is removed with by the High-Flow Heater for even greater airflow. The vertical coil-style heater delivers the same functional as the stock heater grid to help with cold starts but without restricting airflow. Removing the restrictive factory grid heater plate with the Banks Intake Plate deletes all hindrances and turbulence in the airflow path.
The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake With Billet Heater & Intake Plate redesigns the intake manifold lay out on your truck. To make room for the No. 1 fuel line, the factory inlet elbow is angular and cramped. Banks re-engineered the No. 1 fuel line to give this intake greater air flow with less obstruction. This intake manifold with intake plate flows a massive 936 cfm (71.5 lbs/min) of airflow while the stock manifold flows 421 cfm (32.16 lbs/min). The increase in airflow gives the turbine a boost without increasing backpressure. For higher horsepower applications, the improved throttle response means a more power-efficient engine with even more headroom than the stock intake manifold can offer. For data acquisition and expandability, four 1/8” NPT ports are supplied, which may be used for pressure or temperature sensors.
