This causes more air/vapor to enter the fuel system and lowers the engine's performance. Injector barrel/plunger assembly galling, pitting, and tip erosion can also be brought on by air and vapor. The AirDog eliminates air from the fuel that might harm your injectors permanently and keep your engine from operating as it should. This AirDog system incorporates the 4G motor they have been using for years with excellent success together with their conventional nonadjustable/high flow return base. By keeping this fundamental layout, AirDog is able to provide a reasonably priced system with a well-proven and dependable motor design.
The AirDog operates by pulling fuel from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulate contaminates and unknown quantities of moisture. Fuel passes through the water separator that removes water and large particulate contaminates. Next, the fuel with only entrained air/vapor and tiny particulate contaminates remaining, enters the fuel pump. Under positive pressure flow, the fuel passes through the fuel filter and the remaining particulate contaminates are caught and contained, the entrained air/vapor is also separated and returned to the tank. The clean fuel then flows at the proper pressures up to your engine. Each kit includes plumbing, hardware, wiring harness, mounting bracket, and all components needed for installation.
