Gasoline engine tuning needs to match your vehicle's model year, engine, current modifications, and tuning device. A shared model name doesn't mean the same calibration fits every version.
Blessed Performance offers gasoline tuning products for supported applications, primarily Ford gas platforms, including select F-150, Mustang, Raptor, Explorer, and Bronco models, along with supported Chevy Silverado applications. Compare the listed application and device requirements before ordering, or contact our team when support isn't clear.
Match your vehicle before you order
Engine and model-year changes matter, even within a familiar vehicle family. Some tuning products cover several applications, while others are specific to one engine and year range. Before choosing a product, confirm:
Year, Make, and Model: Model years often mark real breakpoints in supported calibrations, even within the same generation
Engine: Many platforms offer more than one gas engine option across their production run
Trim and Factory Equipment: Confirm the engine and factory equipment for your specific vehicle rather than relying on the trim name alone.
Our Ford F-150 and Ford Mustang tuning products cover specific engine and model-year combinations. For Ford SUVs and small trucks, the tuning selection includes supported Explorer and Bronco applications. Supported Chevy Silverado tuning is also available for specific gasoline engine and model-year combinations. Check the exact engine and year range on the tune you're considering before ordering.
The gasoline lineup covers supported EcoBoost and V8 applications, including different Raptor configurations. Match the listing's engine and year range; don't select a tune by trim name alone.
Don't see your vehicle listed? Send our team the model year, engine, modifications, and device details before ordering. We'll help you check the available options rather than treating a similar vehicle as a fitment match.
Comparing your tuning path
Once you've confirmed your vehicle is supported, choose a compatible device and calibration for your current setup and intended use. You should consider whether your vehicle is stock or has already been equipped with other performance upgrades.
Tuning device
A tuning device is the hardware that connects to your vehicle and writes calibration data to the ECU.
Our gasoline lineup includes the Blessed Performance RTD Tuning Device, SCT programmers, and other HP Tuners hardware. The RTD uses HP Tuners technology; it isn't a separate tuning platform. Match the calibration to the exact device and software requirements rather than choosing by brand name alone.
Make sure you confirm that the device is compatible with your vehicle and that the tune is compatible with the hardware. Picking the tune you want before you select a device can help you address this compatibility concern.
Current modifications
A stock or lightly modified vehicle is often well served by a standard tuning file built for that platform and engine.
However, if your vehicle is equipped with upgraded intake, exhaust, fueling, or forced-induction components, you may need a custom tuning file that accounts for how those components influence the performance of your vehicle. Be ready to provide our team with a list of upgrades so we can support your buying choice.
Send the parts list with your year, make, model, and engine details. That gives our team the build information needed to check the available tuning path.
Our custom vs. preloaded tune comparison can help you decide whether a supported existing file covers your build or whether application-specific calibration support is needed.
Your goals
You should choose a tune that matches what you use your vehicle for, such as daily driving, weekend fun, or towing. There are tuning packages designed for these and other use cases.
Tell us which fuel grade you plan to use and whether a specific ethanol blend is part of your supported setup. Select only a calibration that matches the fuel requirements stated for your application.
A daily driver, tow vehicle, and weekend performance build can call for different priorities. Tell us how you use yours and what you're trying to improve. Results depend on the vehicle's condition, modifications, fuel, and calibration.
Data-logging
Some tuning hardware can record operating data from a supported vehicle. Where the purchased service includes data-log review, the tuner can use those records to evaluate the calibration and determine whether a revision is appropriate. Logging capability alone doesn't mean review or revisions are included. Our remote tuning guide explains how those parts of the process fit together.
Confirm compatibility, then order with confidence
Some listings are vehicle-specific calibrations, while others are hardware or support products with their own compatibility requirements. Use your year, make, model, and engine details to narrow the gasoline engine tuning options. If the product doesn’t specifically list your vehicle details as being compatible, reach out to our team to verify that it is the right item.
