This transmission is constructed with multiple upgraded components to ensure solid and consistent performance. To reduce the risk of burnt clutches, BD utilizes custom billet QT100 reaction plates, longer "Big Stack" spline OD shaft, and 16 frictional surfaces. The BD heavy-duty QT100 pressure plates allow for increased clutch counts and reduce deflection and distortion within the clutch drum. The BD Deep sump oil pan adds extra fluid and increases cooling capacity while reducing case flex. To further enhance durability BD includes a reinforced Billet Input Shaft with this transmission.
