Switch-on-the-fly (SOTF) tuning is something entirely different than regular tune-ups. Installing SOTF tuning can enhance truck performance by changing the factory presets on your vehicle’s on-board computer.

Power and Performance

Your truck’s engine control module (ECM) controls an engine’s various systems, including the ignition, fuel injection, and exhaust back pressure. Factory presets are limiting for engine settings and can interfere with what you want from your truck. Additionally, SOTF tuning can add levels for towing, street performance, and racing settings, pushing your truck to perform at a new level. With this type of tuning, you can flip back and forth between settings without the hassle of uploading new files to your ECM or switching off the engine.

Better Health, Longer Life

Installing 6.0L Powerstroke SOTF Tuning capability “educates” your transmission. The transmission can handle sudden changes in torque for each power level. “Knowing” this means less strain on the clutch, which translates into longer life for the part. Each power level provides the right amount of control to ensure your truck engine doesn’t get overworked.

The SOTF system is easy to use. We will install a plug and play box so you can easily switch between three to six power levels, depending on the installation. Go from towing large loads to burning rubber on the track. Then, hit the switch and go back to street driving for the trip back home!
