The Dayco 89259 Automatic Belt Tensioner is designed and built to outperform other aftermarket belt tensioners on the market. This Belt Tensioner is constructed with a flat wire spring that allows the internal tension to be concentric to deliver constant tension. The spring case is made from heavy-duty cast aluminum to resist cracking and rust while delivering quieter performance and longer service life. This tensioner has a locator pin to correctly locate the tensioner for precise installation and to withstand the most demanding drive demands. The patented Deflected Arm Plate decreases arm movement, extending the life of the tensioner by restricting the amount of rotational movement.
