The Dayco 89658 Automatic Belt Tensioner is engineered and manufactured to outlast all other aftermarket belt tensioners on the market. The spring case is made from heavy-duty cast aluminum to resist cracking and rust while delivering quieter performance and longer service life. The patented Deflected Arm Plate decreases arm movement, extending the life of the tensioner by restricting the amount of rotational movement. This tensioner has a locator pin to correctly locate the tensioner for precise installation and to withstand the most demanding drive demands. This Belt Tensioner is manufactured with a flat wire spring that allows the internal tension to be concentric to provide constant tension.
