Product Description
The DEI 010240 GEN-3 Titanium T4 Turbo Shield & Installation Kit is engineered to help your T-4 turbo spool quicker by retaining heat in the turbo for greater efficiency. This turbo shield features an insulation layer that uses silica for its low thermal conductivity and keep heat in turbo shield and turbo housing. A stainless-steel fabric inner cover increases strength, durability and adds to the insulating properties of this turbo shield. A silicone coated outer shell has been encases, making the seams over 4 times stronger and to eliminate fraying of the seams. The inner layer is constructed with stainless steel, glass fiber & silicone for maximum strength, durability and thermal properties. All these advanced textiles combined means this turbo shield can handle direct heat up to 1,800°F and radiant heat up to 2,500°F. The Installation Kit comes with (2) 20” stainless steel locking ties, 5 ft. of fastening wire, and a 2” x 15 ft. roll of Titanium wrap.
