The DEI 010237 GEN-3 Titanium T6 Turbo Shield & Installation Kit comes with everything you need to install the heat shield on your T-6 turbo. This turbo shield features a combination of advanced textiles that can handle direct heat up to 1,800°F and radiant heat up to 2,500°F. The inner layer of this shield is constructed out of glass fiber, silicone and stainless steel for optimal strength, durability and therman properties. The insulation layer of this turbo shield uses silica for its low thermal conductivity and keep heat inside the turbo housing. A high temperature stainless-steel inner cover adds to insulating properties as well as increasing strength of the turbo shield. A silicone coated outer shell encases the seams of this turbo shield, eliminate fraying and making the seams over 4 times stronger. The Installation Kit includes a 5 ft. of fastening wire, a 2” x 15 ft. roll of Titanium wrap, and (2) 20” stainless steel locking ties.
