Each head starts off at Fleece's state-of-the-art machine shop where they're inspected, pressure tested, decked, and painted. The Performance Series gets loaded with all kinds of upgraded parts like Manley 1.300" stainless valves, Hamilton 103 valve springs, Hamilton tool steel retainers, and fire rings.
Aside from the performance goodies, Fleece remanufacturers these heads with new valve guide liners and hardened oversized press-in valve seats to give you a head that exceeds factory specification. To further enhance reliability, Fleece installs 11 screw-in freeze plugs to ensure you'll never have to worry about a coolant leak under the valve cover again! The Freedom Performance Series Cylinder Head is rated for up to 1,100 horsepower and includes a fire ring gasket kit with multi-layer steel gasket and 4.550" diameter rings.
