Depending on the application, the Boss can haul or tow between 10,000 lbs. and 32,000 lbs. Shock absorption and built-in suspension results in a smooth ride that can't be beat. A heavy-duty, completely adjustable, and adaptable hitch, the BOSS Torsion-Flex combines the ingenuity of the MEGA-DUTY drop hitch and Gen-Y's TORSION-FLEX technology. The rubber torsion arms allow only 10% of the trailer inertia to transfer compared to 100% when using a hard connection hitch. The 90% smoother ride allows you to glide instead of bounce, therefore increasing gas mileage. Since the tow vehicle and trailer track independently, you can gain greater control and safety through the reduction in sway and trailer bounce. This hitch can also provide increased braking control because all of the weight on the tow vehicle and trailer is distributed evenly.All GEN-Y products are rigorously tested and exceed the SAE-J684 Weight Testing Requirements. Never exceed recommended capacity on any trailer tow coupling or vehicle receiver hitch.
