Product Description
The H&S Motorsports 121005 Billet Oil Pressure Regulator can help your engine produce higher oil pressure. With high horsepower applications, rod bearing failure has become a common concern for the Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. The factory oil pressure regulator usually only allows around 38-40 PSI of oil pressure under high load / high RPM conditions. This can work for a stock engine, but it is not enough for engines that are producing more than the factory rated horsepower.
Installing additional turbochargers can also affect the oil supply issues because they use the engine oil supply for lubrication and cooling. This direct replacement billet oil pressure regulator assembly allows higher oil pressures under high load / high RPM conditions (typically 60-80 PSI depending on bearing tolerances). It will help extend the life of the engine and in the long run protect your investment.
