The Low-Temperature Thermostat lowers the activation temperature to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, down from the 192 degrees Fahrenheit of the factory thermostat. This allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing and maintaining lower engine temperatures. The Low-Temperature Thermostat is ideal for use in warm climates or under extreme towing/driving conditions.
