Odyssey manufactures their batteries using flat plates made out of 99.99% pure lead, not lead-alloy like lesser competitors. The pure lead construction allows the plates to be thinner, so more of them can fit inside the case. More plates means more surface area, which equals into more power! Up to twice as much power as some conventional batteries.
In addition, Odyssey batteries employ dry cell Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology to contain the acid. This allows the battery to be installed in virtually any position, even on its side.
