This bracket is fabricated out of 1/8” 304 stainless-steel and is engineered to secure the PPE Downpipe when running the PPE Up-Pipes with the stock GM manifolds. If the downpipe is not secured, it can contact the Up-Pipe bellow and cause damage even under normal driving conditions. The movement of the unsecured downpipe can also lead to metal fatigue and cause cracks in the downpipe.
