There are a lot of great 2nd Gen kits out there when it comes to fitment and quality. What sets this Praxis Fab piping kit apart from others is the aesthetics. None of these kits are cheap, especially this one, so why hide your piping? Pop your hood and show everything!
This kit utilizes Stainless Bros 304SS on every tube component. It is Tig welded and back purged to give you the best looks, performance, and longevity. Each and every welded part is made in fixtures to ensure the parts you buy fit when you go to install them.
The intercooler tube is a 2-piece design. I have found that if the tube is hard mounted at the turbo with your typical 3" long straight coupler at the intercooler it is not uncommon to pull the tube out of the boot on a wide-open throttle pull when the engine torques over. Our tube is hard mounted at the turbo then uses (2) 3" hump hose couplers that are 4" long. One in the middle of the tube and one at the intercooler. Hump hose couplers are great for side to side and pulling movement. This also makes it a bit easier to get the kit out of the way for other work to be done.
