The RDS 11-14 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L diesel drop-in turbo kit is your perfect replacement for the faulty un-rebuildable factory turbo. This turbo has many key features. One, converting back to a journal-bearing design – this is a more robust turbo for everyday use. This is now a GT37 turbo replacing the GT32 turbo factory unit. Another key feature includes not having to purchase a retrofit kit. This will fit with all factory connections as well as any additional boots, clamps, and harnesses that may need to be switched around.
This is a true “drop-in turbocharger” ?
Yes. We include all the pieces to make this a 100% true drop-in. There is NO need for a retrofit kit! Included in the box are an updated coolant hose, coolant spacer block, intake boot cap, and compressor housing adapter boot, along with some o-rings and hose clamps explained in the install instructions. Both up-pipes and downpipe can remain in the factory location and bolt directly to this. The drivers’ side charge pipe will lock directly onto the factory location discharge on the compressor housing. An oval boot is provided to block off on the upper port of the intake manifold. There is a coupler to adapt onto the lower connection of the intake, that goes onto the front of the compressor housing. Again no retrofit kit is needed, this is a drop-in and go setup!
