The Tier One Stage 1 5R110W Built Transmission is designed to handle up to 500 horsepower, which makes it perfect for 6.4L Powerstrokes and Triton V10 trucks running around with hot tuning and bolt-on performance parts like cold air intakes, exhaust upgrades, and aftermarket intercoolers. Each Tier One Stage 1 5R110W Transmission can handle extremely heavy towing, tough off-roading, and even sled pull use without letting you or your tough Super Duty truck down. The Stage 1 5R110W transmission is a 100% complete transmission that drops right into place of your Super Duty's stock 5R110W transmission without the need for any permanent modifications or additional tuning. The Tier One Stage 1 5R110W Transmission includes both performance and reliability upgrades that make sure your new Tier One Transmission can handle the strain of increased power and tough applications both on and off-road. Tier One includes a billet multi-disc torque converter that resists warping and cracking under heavy loads and increased power levels. The Stage 1 transmission comes standard with a thermal bypass kit that improves cooling by allowing transmission fluid to move through your truck's transmission cooler no matter the actual temperature. Every Stage 1 transmission features a new set of transmission bushings to maximize its reliability. Tier One welds each coast drum to prevent failures at and cracking at high power levels. Every Stage 1 Transmission comes standard with a pump vent leak prevention kit that fixes the extremely common 5R110W problem of pump vent leakage and front-end noise. To hold all that extra horsepower and torque, Tier One includes a full set of GPZ performance clutches that feature improved friction materials. We here at Tier One also include an ATS Filler Tube Kit that uses a two-piece billet design with built-in seals to prevent common 5R110W transmission dipstick leaks. The Stage 1 Transmission comes with a cast aluminum deep transmission pan that holds more fluid than stock and improves cooling capability. Each Stage 1 5R110W transmission comes with a performance valve body that can handle high line pressures and load to keep your transmission running perfectly at high levels of power. The Stage 1 Transmission is topped off with a new OEM wiring harness to ensure reliable operation.

Transmission Break-in: in order to maintain your warranty, this transmission requires a 300-mile break-in and a 100-mile relearn.

Core Charge Notice: this transmission includes a $2000.00 core charge that will be refunded once Tier One receives your stock transmission, inspects it, and finds it acceptable condition.
