Shop Blessed Performance for the XDP Series Head Stud Kit for your 2001-2016 GM 6.6L LB7/LLY/LBZ/LMM/LML Duramax diesel. A conventional bolt gets twisted as it is tightened, so it's reacting to two different forces at the same time. With a stud the force gets applied to the vertical axis, resulting in a more even clamping force which allows you to obtain a more accurate torque reading. These studs are a must-have for high-horsepower applications and are reusable, unlike the OEM Torque-To-Yield (TTY) bolts which must be replaced after each use. Another benefit of studs is they provide for easier engine assembly and proper alignment of the cylinder heads every time. These studs are manufactured in an ISO/TS 16949 quality control facility. Includes installation instructions for a hassle-free installation.
