Shop Blessed Performance for the XDP Cummins Bolt-On Rear Freeze Plug for your 1989-2002 Dodge 5.9L Cummins diesel. High RPM, heavy acceleration, and temperature differences in your cooling system can cause a freeze plug blow out. When a freeze plug blows out, it will not only leave you stranded, it also causes large coolant losses that can lead to overheating conditions.
The XDP Bolt-On Rear Freeze Plug is mounted firmly in place using existing bolt holes on your cylinder head. Each freeze plug is CNC Machined from billet 6061 aluminum and is machined with a built-in o-ring gasket to ensure a leak-free seal. The XD338 includes the necessary hardware for installation and does not require removal of the transmission.
