LET'S TALK ABOUT LEGACY

LET'S TALK ABOUT LEGACY

Posted by Jonathan J. Story - Blessed Performance Marketing on 6th Apr 2024

Trucks come and go, diesel or gas engines alike, the

difference is, the ones we remember, preserve, re-invent, build

to break, and rebuild, these are the ones that leave a

legacy. That legacy is not exclusive to the owners, and or drivers, of that truck at all. That legacy lives on in the

passengers, and spectators influenced by the trucks glorious

performance, appearance, and reliability, all by products of

the days, weeks, months, of meticulous craftsmanship. And

for those who labored in that process, the creative caveat of

cerebral and physical exertion becomes an arsenal of

wisdom, and supreme confidence in the career path chosen

, because it's what they absolutely love to do. Those folks

would be the entire Blessed Performance headquarters

shop staff of Customer Service reps, Sales associates,

Troubleshooting Techs, and Motor Mechanics, even the

fabrication shop, ensuring your power coating needs are ready

to perfected.

As in humanity, every trucks past is a different scenario,

some more interesting than others, but as you can imagine,

our owner here at Blessed Performance, Matt Story, has a

sixth sense for extreme potential. So when he spotted the

now celebrity truck status of King Twins, in his neighbors

house's garage up the road, he had to inquire. This lead to a

2007 Ford F350 6.0L Powerstroke dually sitting in his

garage for almost an entire year, he's a busy man, and had

no idea of what kind of legacy was about to unfold upon

focusing in on the project.

The original plan was to simply start the YouTube channel up

with an install series on just the "DIY Solutions Kit" which

is available for sale to this day in various forms for 6.0L

shoppers. But when discovering a blown cylinder, and

other crazy past owner issues, we turned this into the kind

of truck that may actually prove the mythology of

bulletproofing a 6.0L into arguable as reality.

This compound turbo set up of an S475 out front and a KC

Turbo S2R Dual Ball Bearing turbo in the Valley, and an

S2R Ported Intake for maximized air flow is epic in itself.   However, since the build we also updated a bit with a

Blessed Performance Intercooler, Regulated Return,

HD Aluminum Air Deflector and other cosmetic upgrades.

The centerpiece of this work of art, is obviously in the meat and potatoes, while being paired with the unmatched precision of the Blessed Performance SCT Tuning.

Every upgrade you can imagine that would need to be done for a truck that was built to boast it's power while maintaining reliability in any setting, this means towing a gooseneck with two trucks on it, or a simple equipment trailer to and from our truck show appearances throughout the Dyno Tour adventures. We encountered all of these situations in our 2022 Adventures, and drove over 30 thousand miles without seeing EGT's on our CS3 Monitor above 1100, up or downhill don't matter.

With this in mind we are excited about bringing King

Twins back out for more Legacy building appearances,

before this truck is passed down the line to it's actual owner

from the start. Yeah, Matt Story bought this truck, and built

it, but he didn't do that for himself, he brought this to life through his love for his son, only son, who's becoming a bit of 6.0L Enthusiast himself.

Make sure you follow the kid on Instagram, he is constantly innovating content for his dad, and works at the shop every weekend, so he is on a path to success and this is his applause once he gets his license. But he's already gotten some good burn outs in.

It's these factors that weigh heavy on a trucks legacy,

regardless of who owns it, it's up to that owner to make that

truck into what they believe it can become. To make a reality out of your dreams.

Pending on the vision, goal,  and budget, we give them the best advice out of pure sincerity in caring for the customers build. No matter if we are doing the building, or simply recommending the parts to shop for on our website. Because our website only carries products we stand behind, period with an exclamation!

We also thrive on the fact that most of the automotive

industry is a bit on auto pilot with customer questions, not

us, we give the consumer the full scope of the answer to

their questions, and if we don't have the answers we will be

straight forward and tell you so. When you think of any

lasting legacy from any place person or product, you

also have to think of the people surrounding them that

contributed to the growth along the way which

eventually lead to a legacy of legendary status.

When we considered all of these things recently, while

debating our new website design strategies, and other

forms of growth that will be prevalently unveiled by us

soon, we decided we needed to ask for help, to grow in

our ability to help.

Help us, help your trucks legacy, if you've shopped with us

for any of our new Blessed Performance products, and

or, any slew of build list supplied by our trailblazing

aftermarket vendors.  We need you to send in your HD, keyword "HD" Photos, and Include in an email to Sales@blessedperformance.com a rough draft Biography of your truck, how the project started, why you targeted those upgrades. What kind of troubleshooting did you encounter while installing, did you install everything? If not...What shop (Name, Address) did you go to? Basically what we want is the full story, as much detail as you can muster, and before clicking send, we ask that folks copy and paste that testimonial into a google review as well.  In fact, we will leave some infographics below this blog too, just keep legacy in mind.
