Shop with Blessed Performance for the BD-Power TP38 Turbo Thruster II provides up to a 40% increase in airflow over the stock turbo design in a 1994-1997 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke. All without compressor surging or a choked-off turbine flow. Made as a direct, bolt-in replacement for the stock turbo, the Turbo Thruster II has awesome pressure ratios, provides lower EGTs, has no compressor surging and is capable of developing up to 36psi of boost pressure. This turbo is non-wastegated.
The TP38 Turbo Thruster II features the BD-Power Ballistic Billet 66mm compressor wheel with a 76.5mm turbine wheel 1.0 A/R. The large 1.0 A/R turbine housing handles higher exhaust flow and eliminates the choke condition experienced with some turbos with .84 housings. The cartridge (or rotating assembly) uses journal bearings and a new 360-degree bronze thrust washer for extended bearing life and making future servicing easier. The Ballistic Billet Wheel provides faster spool-up and reduces EGT's while eliminating throttle surging. Great for up to 525 HP.
