Cummins changed over to the Bosch CP4.2 pump in 2019, which has seen its share of issues in the Ford and GM diesel trucks.
Cummins had to increase the drive ratio of the CP4 pump and spin it faster to keep up with fuel demand due to its lower volume output. You can take advantage of this overdrive with the installation of a CP3 with this kit.
