Blessed Performance has the BD-Power Venom CP3 Conversion Kit (Without Injection Pump) allowing you to upgrade to the Duramax-Style CP3 of your choice in your 2019-2020 RAM 6.7L Cummins. With the introduction of the common rail fuel system in 2003, all Dodge 5.9L/6.7L Cummins Rams were equipped with the reliable Bosch CP3 high pressure fuel pump. Cummins made major changes and switched to a Bosch CP4.2 pump in 2019 which has seen its share of problems in the Ford and GM Applications.
Cummins had to increase the drive ratio of the pump and turn it faster to keep up with fuel demand due to the CP4's lower volume output. By installing the CP3 included with this kit, you can take advantage of this overdrive. The CP3's greater volume combined with this increased drive ratio allows you to supply more fuel for increased power potential! Installation of the BD-Power Venom CP3 Conversion Kit (Without Injection Pump) can prevent a costly pump failure.
The CP4 is also prone to catastrophic failure. The entire fuel system requires replacement when disaster strikes as metal debris from the failed pump spreads throughout the system. Cleaning the tank, and replacing fuel lines, injectors, and the injection pump can wind up costing you in excess of $10,000 in repairs!
The BD-Power Venom CP3 Conversion Kit comes with everything you need for install except the CP3 pump, and does not require custom tuning. This kit includes all the bracketry, fittings, fuel lines and hardware needed for a straight-forward installation.
