Choose the Carrillo DHR7030PRKS Hybrid Piston & Rod Kit With CARR Bolts when building your 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax engine. After years of research and development while working closely with renowned engine builders, CP-Carrillo light weight Diesel Hybrid kits have been proven to provide an amazing reduction in reciprocating weight over the factory piston and rod assembly. This Piston & Rod kit allows for a longer rod without the use of a deck plate, improving rod to stroke ratio.
This Hybrid Piston & Connecting Rod Kit consists of a set of connecting rods that are .202" longer and designed to work with their 0.202" shorter CH and 1.156" Top Fuel Pin. The piston has a 4.075" Bore and 16.5:1 CR. This combo is approximately 1/2 lb lighter per cylinder than the stock components (around 4lbs off rotating assembly).
