6.7L Powerstroke Fuel Systems
The aftermarket is expanding to meet the growing demand for today's high-powered direct-injection vehicles. However, this aid has made the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) fuel systems a limiting factor. In many cases, the actual power output of a vehicle's engine is already at or near the limit, making the 6.7 Power Stroke fuel system upgrade a must-have for Ford owners.
Even a small amount of pressure loss in these applications, often exceeding 3,000 psi, may drastically reduce the injectors' capacity to provide the required volume and cause improper fuel atomization. This might result in misfires and significant engine damage since pre-ignition control would be impaired. This is a primary advantage of a new 6.7 Power Stroke fuel system.
