MPD has mercilessly tested this transmission in-house to ensure that the best components go inside the Stage 2 transmission. With the ability to handle 1,200 horsepower, this transmission can conquer the harshest conditions.
This Maryland Performance Diesel Stage 2 Transmission features a billet intermediate shaft for add strength, pump assembly, speed sensors, internal wiring, bearings, seals, and Teflon rings for durability. Using G2 ALTO clutches in a proprietary clutch count, this clutch pack ensures reduced slippage and a longer service life. Modifications have been made to the new valve body to keep the fluid temperatures low, increasing transmission life and performance. A billet aluminum transmission pan dissipates heat more efficiently than a stock pan and delivers a killer look.
