Blessed Performance is proud to announce and release our in house proprietary true Shift on the Fly (SOTF) Tuning for your 2005-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. Here are Blessed Performance we are always striving to bring you the latest and greatest for your 2005-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke because let’s be honest, we are 6.0 Powerstroke enthusiasts and truly love the platform. We have worked hard to develop this new and exciting way to tune your 6.0L Powerstroke and are now offering it to the public. As of 10/8/2024 we have decided to remove the 2003-2004 Trucks, All Vans and All Excursions from this option. The ECM of those units is just simply not responding as efficient as we would like and we have to know when to pull the plug per say on the program. Please call with any questions.
This is true Shift on the Fly tuning for your 6.0 Powerstroke brought to you with some amazing capabilities and features. We are able to control the ECM in all power levels with controls over Timing, Fueling, EBP/Boost, Pedal Mapping and more. When it comes to the most important part, the transmission/TCM we are able to control the transmission with Calculated/Commanded Torque. In doing this we can help ensure the health and longevity of your 5R110 Transmission because we are able to tell the transmission based on the power level what to expect for torque which this in turn tells the transmission what pressure it needs to help ensure clutch longevity. This is controlled in each power level giving you true 6.0L Powerstroke Shift on the Fly Tuning capability.
As an addition we have also worked with In The Shop Diesel to develop a shift on the fly switch. What does this mean? Even folks without Cruise Control can enjoy the feature and ease of Shift on the Fly tuning with a simple plug and play box to allow you to control the tune and switch power levels at the tap of a button. We have also tested this with trucks that have cruise control that simply want a switch and it works flawlessly allowing you to have a switch that is clearly and easily labeled.
All trucks please note that after every key cycle off then turned back on your truck will default to the EcoBeast Tow tune this is Level 2 for the 05-07 6.0 Powerstroke. On the 05-07 trucks your RPM gauge will sweep to the power level you are one when you engage the system. So, you will be able to see what power level you are on with ease. Below are explanations of each year model truck and what you will receive. Please feel free to give us a call 1-800-577-2698 with any questions you may have.
Transmissions Tuning
- Calculated/Commanded Torque to control shift pressure.
- All orders receive three tune files with different commanded shift points.
- All orders come with Overdrive Lockout – Crucial for bigger turbo and injector setups plus incredibly beneficial for towing or bigger wheel/tire setups.
- Stock Shift Points – Self explanatory this is your OEM designed shift points with calculated torque being commanded to ensure transmission shifts with proper pressures.
- Mildly Raised Shift Points – 25% raised over OEM Shift Points – Same design for calculated torque.
- Race Shift Points – 50% raised over OEM Shift Points – Same design for calculate torque.
2005-2007 ECM Tuning
- Six Power Levels Available – Due to ECM memory Capacity being more expansive.
- Level 0 – Stock OEM Tune
- Level 1 – High Idle/Stock
- Level 2 – Tow Boss – Same iconic towing power as our Tow Boss Tune with added fan controls and exhaust brake features - Your truck will default to this power level with every key cycle.
- Level 3 – EcoBeast Tow – Rich history of power and towing capabilities in this tune platform to allow you to tow heavy with some nice added power. We only recommend this power level when you are studded otherwise towing limits are 8000lbs.
- Level 4 – EcoBeast Street - Our flagship design with the same features input to perform amazing on the street daily.
- Level 5 - Blessed Xtreme Performance – That race power at the stoplight with the tap of a button. Take the handcuffs off your truck and let it eat that Mustang for lunch at the stop light.
User configured options will include the whistle or growl or stock option at idle for the vanes. Whistle is closed vanes; this will create a whistle with all turbos and an insane turbo whistle when you have a 10-blade turbine or 9 blade turbine. Growl, this will make your truck sound like a non vgt at idle. Stock vanes control we leave it stock at idle so it will sound similar to what you already have. Whistle will give a strong exhaust brake function on the tow files and will spool faster off the line because we already have the vanes forced closed. Growl will be a little laggier off the line but quieter at idle. Please call with any questions about this.
In the Modifications list we recommend listing everything that is not OEM or that has been modified. This will allow us to properly tune your truck for the modifications and allow us to do our job to make sure your truck performs properly. If you forget to list something this can and will result in a revision fee. Please list everything modified here so we can make proper adjustments. We can tune for all types of injectors and turbo setups with this. No, your 330/150, S472 truck will not be able to tow 30k with this setup but you will have the ability to back down power for daily street use then at the tap of a button change to the Xtreme file and eat that Duramax or Cummins for dinner at the track. For those trucks with sub 600hp builds this is extremely exciting and useful. You will be able to tow at the tap of a button then when you get your mustang to the track you can unhook the trailer, click a few buttons and boom go racing at the track. With this purchase you will receive 7 days of revision and testing period. Changing the idle sound is not considered a revision that is considered a new tune. You can request early lockup in all the tunes as well but please understand the lockup strategy is not changeable in the shift on the fly nor are the shift points. We can control shift pressures, but the TCM simply does not have enough memory size to allow different shift points. We automatically include 3rd Gear Torque Converter Lockup in Tow/Haul with Overdrive Lockout as well. Please give us a call ahead of time before purchasing if you have any questions about this portion.
6.0 Powerstroke Tuning List
- Tow Boss 50-70HP Rating - Our brew of a clean pulling 6-liter Powerstroke. We love to see folks use these trucks for their intended use and we will ensure that with this tune you will be safe to tow like a boss. We include some nice features but can add others to the mix. We include for the vgt folks heavy Jake Brake and for the Non-Vgt folks and Overdrive Lockout that allow you to pull a hill like a champ. We also integrate some nice help from the transmission for stopping those heavy loads.
- EcoBeast Tow 80-110HP Rating - This is the one tune that a lot of folks have asked for and we have been testing for quite some time. The tune that you can drive on daily with good power, mileage and drivability but then when you need to tow hook up and go. Tap the tow/haul button trans shifting changes drastically to help you pull whatever is behind you with more power to the ground. We have been getting rave reviews about this style of tune from the test folks. They love how it shifts and how it gets great mileage on a daily driver but also, they can tow without sitting and waiting to change tunes. This tune comes with 3rd gear torque converter lock up all the way to overdrive. But it also has overdrive lock out which helps you drive your truck not have the truck drive you. We integrate the exhaust brake which is also nice when daily driving less wear on the brakes (non-vgt can't have an exhaust brake unless it is aftermarket). We lower the fan control to make the fan come on sooner which helps with cooling the truck as well as functionality of the AC system during the summertime.
- EcoBeast Street 90-130HP Rating - This is our flagship tune. Although most customers see a 2-4 mpg gain with this tune, we do not guarantee but we would be surprised if you didn't see those gains. This is a super clean tune designed to run clean and efficient for those long road trips or daily driving around town to get groceries.
- Blessed Xtreme Performance 150-190HP - This is our everyday race tune. We work with the trans to hold shift points slightly longer and really bring on the power in the 6.0 Powerstroke power band. This tune has seen up to 190hp gains which is rare, but it can happen with a very healthy running truck. This tune will be smokier simply due to the fact it is a race tune, and we recommend this for Friday night cruising downtown when you want to beat up on the Mustang's or other diesel boys. We recommend this for going to the track and running to have a good time.
If you will notice we list a range of horsepower ratings. We do not give specific levels because obviously we can not put you on a dyno for that. These power levels range based on our results and history of tuning. These power levels are also based on modifications, overall health of the truck, injector size, turbo size, hpop system health, fuel system health, elevation etc.. There are a lot of factors that go into horsepower and rather than giving you blown up false numbers we would rather let our customer feel the difference when they drive their truck.
Options we can build into your tuning(Please request in the "Requested Details" Section)
- Overdrive lockout - Great for non vgt trucks and even vgt that get laggy when going up hill this feature you simply tap the tow/haul button and lockout overdrive allowing you to downshift without moving the throttle and get back into the power band.
- Close Veins for the Whistle or Open Veins for the Growl- Whether you love the classic whistle of the 6.0 or the rumble of the Powerstroke we can help. Just let us know if you would like either option.
- Adjust torque converter lockup - Come in based on throttle position which can be very useful as well so you can daily drive a hot race tune. We need you to be pretty specific with this request.
- Timing Adjustments - Let us know if you are running fuel adders and we need to adjust for them.
- Converter Lockup - Request that the converter gets locked in any gear you would like(If you decide early lockup is not for you there will be a charge to revise this.
- Stay In One Gear - We can command only one gear for a tune of your choice. If this needed changed there would be a tune revision fee.
- Exhaust Brake - We can command exhaust brake on all the tunes. It comes standard with the tow tunes but some folks like it on all the tune options.
- Fan Control - We can command a low fan engagement temperature to help you keep those temps in line when towing heavy up the mountain to your favorite camping spot or just in town daily driving. If requesting this please put the temp you would like to be close to. There are several factors that turn the fan on such EOT, ECT, AC, Speed(MPH) so its not an exact number we can enter but we can usually finesse it to be super close.
Tunes are generally written with 24hours (Except on Weekends, Christmas/Thanksgiving, New Years, Easter or Independence Day) of receiving the order. If there were a situation where we could not meet this expectation we would email you and let you know the expected date.
NEW OPTION - Want to data log your truck and dial it in remotely? Order the Data Log Subscription above and we will send you communication from our data log email so you can go out, run some tests, record info with your SCT, HP Tuners MPVI3 or Edge CTS3. Email us the data log, with requests for adjustments to shift points etc. and we will adjust them and send you a new tune. This is a 3 month subscription from the time you receive your tunes. This is more for those guys with big big builds that would like more one on one attention but cant make it to our in house DynoJet 224xLC Trailer Dyno. You will pay similar costs as if you were dyno tuning your truck. Communication is key with this option. This is new lets test it out and see how it works for all of us.
Revisions - You have 7 Days to test the tunes. If you feel a revision is needed then please call us know within that time frame and we will make recommendations based on the info you give us or we will modify the tune and send again. The goal is to work together if there is an issue so we can solve it which is a win for all of us. Anything after 72 hours there will be a surcharge pro-rated starting at a 50% discount.
Note - Vane position that the customer selects is not considered a revision that is a customer selectable option.

We only support SCT Device tuning. Such as the X4, Livewire, or BDX for the 6.0 Powerstroke.

We will not disable O2 sensors or CEL that stem from the lack of catalytic converters/DPF Delete or EGR delete. The Custom Tune Files do not include any emissions deletes. The custom tuning provided will require your EGR valve to be plugged in.
